Lehigh Valley Health Network has signed a binding Letter of Intent to acquire the assets of Coordinated Health, pending reviews by the Federal Trade Commission and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office. If cleared to close, Coordinated Health will become part of LVHN.
“This proposed union further affirms our commitment to providing world-class orthopedic and specialty care to our patients and community,” Brian Nester, DO, President and CEO of LVHN said. “LVHN and Coordinated Health share a common vision focused on population health, one that is rooted in being a partner and advocate in our patients’ health journeys. We are very excited by the opportunity to have the talented team at Coordinated Health join the region’s most trusted and awarded health network.”
The enthusiasm is shared by Dr. Emil Dilorio, Chairman and CEO, Coordinated Health.
“Coordinated Health and LVHN share a strong passion for delivering high value healthcare and combining these two organizations is an opportunity to expand our proven integrated healthcare model. For 30 years, we have delivered health care differently, delivering more value by narrowing our service lines and by reaching out to our patients in terms of accessibility. We have every confidence that LVHN will continue to expand this legacy,” Dilorio said.
LVHN and CH will remain separate and independent health systems while they await these government reviews.
