On Friday, June 14, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) held its first-ever fundraising event for Lehigh Valley Hospital–Carbon: a concert featuring Bruce in the USA. This No. 1 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street tribute band helped LVHN raise nearly $50,000 to benefit LVH–Carbon through ticket sales and the generosity of 12 event sponsors. This electrifying band performed on stage at Penn’s Peak, Carbon County’s premier music venue, and provided a night not soon to be forgotten.
LVHN Northwest Region President Terry Purcell and Lehigh Valley Hospital–Carbon President Christine Biege, BSN, welcomed and thanked those in attendance for their support. “The funds we raise tonight through ticket and raffle sales will help make the Greater Carbon community healthier,” Purcell said.
