Cardiologists Lekha Racharla, DO, and Amogh Joshi, DO, join Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute
Welcome Advanced Heart Failure Specialist, Lekha Racharla, DO
Lehigh Valley Health Network is pleased to welcome Lekha Racharla, DO, to Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Racharla is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She specializes in advanced heart failure.
Dr. Racharla recognizes each patient is unique. She works with them to develop a plan of care tailored to their needs and values.
“I believe patient care extends far beyond medical treatment, encompassing empowerment, empathy and personalized treatment,” she says. “Just as I would care for my own family, I approach each patient with compassion and respect. I recognize their unique values, preferences and goals, and align treatment plans with their beliefs.”
Dr. Racharla completed her medical training at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine before completing her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship with Lehigh Valley Health Network.
During her training, Dr. Racharla served as the President of Lehigh Valley Resident Association and Chief Cardiology Fellow. She went on to complete an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to the Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute.
Dr. Racharla joins the largest team of advanced heart failure specialists in the region and will also be an integral part of our Women’s Heart and Vascular Program.
She specializes in advanced heart failure, offering services at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cardiology–1250 Cedar Crest and Lehigh Valley Physician Group Cardiology–Muhlenberg.
Amogh Joshi, DO, Brings Cardiology Expertise to LVHN
Amogh Joshi, DO, joins Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute bringing expertise in cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, cardio-oncology and cardiometabolic disease.
Dr. Joshi’s philosophy of care centers around making his patients comfortable and educating them to make informed decisions.
“My approach to patient care is centered on the belief that compassionate and individualized care is integral to healing,” he says. “I will work closely with patients to help them understand the issues at hand and guide them to the best available diagnostic and therapeutic options.”
Dr. Joshi completed his medical training at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship with Lehigh Valley Health Network. During his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, Dr. Joshi served as Chief Fellow.
After completing all his training at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Dr. Joshi decided to start his practice with the Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute at LVH Cardiology–1250 Cedar Crest.
