Lehigh Valley Hospital–Hazleton is partnering with OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG). A highly qualified health care partner, OBHG is also the nation’s largest and only dedicated OB-GYN hospitalist employer.
The OB hospitalist program allows board-certified OB-GYNs to focus on providing consistent care to patients in the hospital, as
well as emergent care to those arriving in the Family Birth and Newborn Center.
LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology doctors and clinicians are working in close partnership and communication with the OBHG team to deliver seamless, coordinated care. The OB-GYN hospitalists will be on-site to visit patients, monitor their progress and
discuss any family members’ questions or concerns.
The partnership’s mission is to elevate the standard of women’s health care by ensuring every expectant mother is evaluated and treated by a physician regardless of time, location, complication or circumstance.
