Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Brightens TSA Experience for Travelers of All Ages

Traveling via the Lehigh Valley International Airport in the next couple of months? We’re excited to share Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital (and a few of its friends) will be there to greet you at the beginning of your adventure. With luggage in hand, our animal pals are accompanying travelers through the TSA checkpoint while travelers are reminded that, here or miles away, the Children’s Hospital has kids’ health care needs covered.

Aside from this newly added presence at TSA, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital also sponsors these elements to make traveling more enjoyable for kids and parents:

• Children’s play area: From crawling under a small Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital to climbing aboard a MedEvac helicopter, this space was created for young children (and their parents) as a place to pass the time while waiting for their planes to depart.
• Mamava lactation pod: For women who are breastfeeding, the pod provides a comfortable, private breastfeeding option, featuring lighting and airflow control, built-in seating, a table, mirror and outlets.
• Sensory room: This room is equipped with Mondo flooring, low frequency lighting, a mounted projector and other sensory equipment.
