Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital celebrated a very special birthday as it turns lucky 13 and officially becomes a teenager. Pediatric patients and their families helped celebrate the hospital that makes so many children feel better and brighter, close to home, each day.
Anne Baum, President, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital since 2021, was at the event to celebrate.
“The Children’s Hospital continues to grow in the number of patients we care for,” Baum says. “We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with the community that counts on us to take care of the most important people in their lives.”
On Monday, May 19 at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s (LVHN) Mack Boulevard location, families enjoyed crafts, games, food and sweets. Colleagues from LVHN, part of Jefferson Health, also joined the fun. There was face-painting, balloon animals and even tinsel hair extensions. Attendees were treated to live music by father-daughter duo, J. Nathan Hagstrom, MD, Physician in Chief of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital, and Kelsey Hagstrom, scheduling coordinator with LVPG Pediatrics.
