For the second year in a row, LVHN makes Forbes list of America’s Best Employers by State.
In Pennsylvania, LVHN is ranked among the top 40 employers and is the top-rated health care system in the Lehigh Valley.
Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research company, to release a ranking of best-in-state employers. The list was compiled based on an independent, anonymous survey of more than 80,000 employees working for businesses with at least 500 people. Surveys were conducted from October 2019 to May 2020. Evaluation of top employers was based on two criteria:
- Direct recommendations: Employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family.
- Indirect recommendations: Participants were also prompted to evaluate other employers in their region and respective industries that stand out either positively or negatively.
