Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN)–Pittston offers exceptional care that patients in the Pittston community have come to expect and trust. That high level of care is being recognized by the readers of The Citizens’ Voice newspaper in Wilkes-Barre.
LVHN–Pittston Rehabilitation Services and one of its physicians, Thomas Meade, MD, are being honored with 2022 Readers’ Voice Awards.
For a sixth year, Meade won Best Surgeon, while LVHN–Pittston is being recognized for Best Physical Therapy.
Meade, a Pittston native, is a nationally-recognized orthopedic surgeon who holds several quality awards and accreditations. He has been recognized by the prestigious Medical Fitness Association for his lifetime contributions to the field of medical fitness and honored with the Sir John Charnley Award for orthopedic achievement.
“It’s an honor to know that our patients would take the time to acknowledge our care. This is very humbling,” says Meade. “Winning this award is a team effort. No outcome would be possible without an enormous professional staff that maintains the highest professional standards.”
