- Elizabeth Page, HNL Lab Medicine
Page, a specimen management supervisor for HNL, has served in her role for over 20 years. Her colleagues describe her as kind, considerate, patient, and willing to go above and beyond for her colleagues and the community.
- Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest
The COVID-19 pandemic brought challenges to health care professionals around the globe, and the 101 colleagues who are part of the MSICU weathered the storm with strength, courage and compassion. These colleagues provide care for the Lehigh Valley’s sickest patients, and despite numerous challenges, each team member offered compassionate care and encouragement to patients and one another.

As a clinical site educator for HNL Lab Medicine, Leffler prepares students for the American Society for Clinical Pathology certification exam. Leffler has served in this role since 2011. Hosni serves as a registered nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg and is revered by her patients for going the extra mile in providing high-quality, compassionate care, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hosni helped two of her patients safely connect with family while they were being treated for COVID-19, and they were able to celebrate special occasions from a distance thanks to her support and planning.
- Maureen McDonough, MSN, CEN
As the director of patient logistics, McDonough and her team managed the impact of COVID-19 patient surges. She also played a key role in opening LVHN’s new Capacity Command Center, which serves as a communications and monitoring hub that can assess real-time conditions at every LVHN hospital.
Physician Hero
- Alex Benjamin, MD
Benjamin serves as LVHN’s Chief Infection Control and Prevention Officer and has guided LVHN through the COVID-19 pandemic with steady leadership and firm expertise. He was also part of a multidisciplinary team that helped to adapt LVHN’s drive-thru vaccine clinic model to fit the needs for COVID-19. As a result of his contributions, more than 600,000 vaccine doses have been administered to colleagues and the community.
Volunteer Hero
- Theresa “Terrie” Graczyk
With more than 2,450 hours of volunteer service with LVHN, Graczyk takes great pride in sharing her talent and expertise with LVHN. She offers her time to LVHN’s DAISY Award program, hematology and oncology outpatient clinic, volunteer services department and the Veteran Health Program at Valley Health Partners Community Health Center.
Workplace Wellness Hero
- Lehigh Valley Health Network
LVHN is the region’s largest and most progressive health network, and its leaders are committed to improving the health and wellness of all colleagues. To aid in this goal, My Total Health, a wellness program, was launched in 2018 to provide opportunities for all colleagues to focus on physical, mental, emotional, financial and social wellness. More than 9,000 colleagues have participated in the program.
