Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG)–Geriatric and Internal Medicine providers Philip J. Benyo, MD, Daniel E. Benyo, MD, and Philip P. Benyo, PA-C, have moved to a new location, LVPG Geriatric and Internal Medicine–Brookhill Plaza in Conyngham.
Patients can expect the same quality care from all three providers in a larger atmosphere, allowing for safer distancing practices.
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) opened more than 50 LVPG practices and select ExpressCARE locations across the region with new safety precautions and conveniences to ensure patients and their family members are seen both safely and quickly. We will guarantee same day appointments, virtually or in-person, and will implement expanded hours, including weekends.
To help promote social distancing, patient arrival times will be staggered.
Additional measures LVPG is taking to ensure patient safety include:

Having patients wait in their vehicle instead of the waiting room. Instead, they will call the office from the parking lot to let them know they have arrived. When it’s time for their appointment, they will be called.

Patients and an accompanying visitor must wear a face mask unless there is a medical reason for not being able to do so.

All patients and visitors will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 when they enter an LVPG office.

Waiting rooms will be used sparingly. We will promote social distancing by spacing out seating in waiting areas. If a patient is brought to his or her appointment by another person, that person can accompany the patient for the visit with the provider, can wait in the waiting room if space is available, or wait in their vehicle.
Additional practice re-openings are anticipated and will be announced as soon as those locations and dates are determined.
A native of Hazleton, Philip J. Benyo, MD, has been practicing medicine for close to 40 years and says, “It’s a father’s dream to work with his sons. I now know how my father felt when my brothers and I worked for him at Andy’s Market. As patients start coming back for face-to-face appointments, the new larger office space allows us to tend to their medical needs with additional safety precautions in place.”
Phil P. Benyo, PA-C, has been a part of his father’s practice since 2002. Daniel E. Benyo, MD, began practicing medicine in 2017.
