EPGI’s four doctors are board-certified, specialty trained, advanced endoscopists who do considerable work in the following areas:
- Diagnosing and staging gastrointestinal malignancies
- Endoscopically evaluating abnormal radiographic imaging, including pancreas cysts and atypical lesions
- Screening high-risk patients for pancreatic cancer via endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Performing interventional biliary and pancreatic procedures (ERCP), and utilizing advanced resection techniques for gastrointestinal lesions, such as large colon polyps, also known as endoscopic mucosal resection, or EMR.
You are generally referred for advanced endoscopy by primary care, medical and surgical oncologists, radiologists and other gastrointestinal providers. EPGI’s advanced endoscopists regularly communicate with referring physicians to assist in patient care.
