Lehigh Valley Health Network cut the ribbon to an all-new emergency room at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest and people can begin receiving care in the new facility. When you come to the ER you can expect to be welcomed by a comfortable modern setting and to receive care with the latest technologies.
The ER’s layout has been made with efficiency in mind, allowing people to be treated as quickly as possible. It has unique features such as a 35-room observation unit for those times when you aren’t sick enough to require a hospital stay, but need extra care. The ER even has its own diagnostic testing, laboratory, pharmacy and room for emergent procedures. Everything you need in an emergency is close by.
