Skip the Trip to the Front Desk With “Contactless Arrival” at LVHN

Beginning May 19, with contactless arrival, you can skip the trip to the front desk.

Here’s how it works: You’ll receive a text message 30 minutes before your visit asking if you have arrived. Once you confirm you’re at the reception desk, contactless arrival lets the front desk staff know and you can have a seat. Or if you prefer, you can continue to check in with front desk staff person.

To use contactless arrival, you will need to opt in to receive text messages from Lehigh Valley Health Network. If you’d like to sign up for text messaging, you can do so through your communications preferences or one of these options:

• Option 1: From your smartphone, text the word “Start” to 78453. You will receive a welcome message confirming that you will receive text messages from Lehigh Valley Health Network (MyLVHN).
• Option 2: At your LVPG clinician’s office, ask a team member about helping you opt-in to text messages. They can send a text message from MyLVHN to your smartphone welcoming you to text messages. You do not need to reply to that message.
