If you’re feeling under the weather with something that feels worse than a cold – possibly the flu, COVID-19 or respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) – you may need additional help to get well. If your symptoms don’t need emergency care, the quickest way to receive care is through an LVHN ExpressCARE Video Visit. Using an ExpressCARE Video Visit as your first point of care if you have respiratory symptoms will help stop the spread of illness and protect others while getting you the care you need quickly.

How to schedule an ExpressCARE Video Visit

Follow these steps to schedule an ExpressCARE Video Visit:

  • Open your MyLVHN app.
  • Go to “Menu.”
  • Select “Schedule ExpressCARE Video Visit.”
  • Follow the instructions to either schedule a video visit or wait in a virtual waiting room.
  • You will be prompted to download VidyoConnect app. Please follow the on-screen instructions to get set up.
  • Once downloaded, go back into the MyLVHN app and click the link to start your visit. It will automatically open in the VidyoConnect app you downloaded in the previous step.

The health care professional you will see through a video visit can determine if you need testing for COVID-19 or the flu, and if needed, also can prescribe medication.
