Blood Donations

Every June 14 we observe World Blood Donor Day, a time to celebrate all the generous people who voluntarily give blood to save lives.

And while we honor these hemoglobin heroes, these princes and princesses of plasma and platelets, we wanted to serve up a quiz to test your knowledge about blood and blood donation. There are a lot of myths out there, so choose your answers carefully.

After you take the quiz, we invite you to jump over to the American Red Cross's website and set up a time to make a donation.
