Anthony Baran has been a member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Board of Trustees since 2016. He also is a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill Board of Directors. Mr. Baran is the retired Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of EXTOL International, a developer of business integration software that has acquired more than 900 customers in 11 countries since its start in 1989. In April 2016, EXTOL was acquired by Cleo Communications, Inc. Mr. Baran has been a frequent presenter at software industry conferences in the U.S. and internationally. He currently serves as Chairman of the Pottsville-Schuylkill Technology Incubator and Vice Chairman of the Schuylkill County Airport Authority, and is a member of the advisory board of Ben Franklin Technology Partners. He previously served as an officer of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association, and as a Director of the Schuylkill Economic Development Corporation and the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Baran is a graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
