Arti was born Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She knew from an early age she wanted to pursue medicine and was able to gain a spot at the prestigious dual admission program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This allowed Arti to complete a B.S. in Biology in three years with a full ride scholarship while reserving a seat for her in NSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school, she developed an interest in public health and obtained a Master's of Public Health alongside her D.O. degree. She was also involved in her school's Indian Physicians of South Florida chapter and organized a medical outreach trip to India during her second year of school. Her interests include childhood obesity and geriatric medicine. Arti's hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
