Beth Careyva, MD, joined the faculty after completing residency at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to this, she attended Lehigh University and Jefferson Medical College. She was the recipient of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine resident teaching award and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Since joining the faculty at LVHN, she has completed the Grant Generating Project fellowship, the AHRQ Practice-Based Research Methods fellowship, and the Rider-Pool Foundation’s Collective Impact fellowship. Her primary faculty interest is in research, particularly focused on addressing disparities in disease prevention for vulnerable populations. Her hobbies include cooking, running, and caring for her pet turtle Franklin.
