Bridgeen Tohill has been a hematology oncology nurse for over 15 years.  She received her bachelor's degree in nursing at University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, and in 2011 she went on to complete postgraduate education in oncology at University College Dublin, Ireland.  From 2016 to 2018, she also completed postgraduate education in palliative care at University of Ulster and qualified as a board-certified specialist practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, U.K.   

She is certified by the Oncology Nursing Society and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to working at LVHN, she held roles in the inpatient and outpatient setting in oncology/hematology in Ireland and London, U.K.   

Working with the AYA population and helping them through unique needs and challenges is something that she is hugely passionate about. She has a sibling connection to a young adult survivor, treated in childhood, and this has driven her passion to be an oncology nurse from the outset.
