Hi, my name is Erin Scholten, MD, and I am the practice lead for endocrinology. I have been with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) since moving to the area in 2017. I am originally from Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and most of my family is still in New Jersey. I went to medical school at St. George’s University, spending time both in Grenada and New Jersey for my training. I then spent five years in Washington, D.C., where I did my internal medicine residency training at Georgetown University Hospital and my endocrine fellowship at Georgetown and Washington Hospital Center. I started here at LVHN after I graduated and never looked back.

My family is everything to me. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my husband and our three kids. We spend a lot of our summers at the New Jersey shore in Lavallette with my family, including my two younger brothers and their families. I love to read, travel, be outdoors, go to concerts and spend as much time at the beach as possible.
