Dr. Greenberg is Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and Chief Medical Executive of the Primary Care Service Line. He is a Professor of Medical Education and Family Medicine for the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. In his position, Dr. Greenberg oversees physicians and advanced practice clinicians across the region practicing in family medicine, ExpressCARE and general internal medicine. With the partnership of a team of outstanding leaders, he also has oversight of two family medicine residency programs, sports medicine, geriatrics and addiction medicine fellowship programs, a longitudinal medical student clerkship and a family medicine research program.

Dr. Greenberg has been actively involved with education, quality improvement, leadership development and facilitating effective collaboration among primary care specialties. He is passionate about ensuring the patients in communities served by LVHN have optimal access to care. In addition to his work with at LVHN, Dr. Greenberg currently serves on the board of directors for the Association of Departments of Family Medicine, is a member of the American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable and has published multiple peer reviewed articles in academic journals. 

Dr. Greenberg earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and English from the University of Michigan, his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and a master’s degree in health systems administration with a focus on health management and policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He also has a master’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Indiana University.
