James C. Miller, CRNA, MS, MBA, is President of Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Muhlenberg; President of LVHN’s Northampton Region, which includes LVH–Muhlenberg, LVH–Hecktown Oaks and LVHN–Highland Avenue; Senior Vice President of Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence; and Senior Vice President of Perioperative Services. He also is a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Board of Directors. Mr. Miller is responsible for the management and operations of the hospital campuses within the Northampton Region. He also works in partnership with the Institute Physician in Chief to build Lehigh Valley Health Network’s (LVHN) position as a premier, world-class institute across all surgical subspecialties, and provides clinical and operational leadership for all facets of LVHN’s comprehensive perioperative and endoscopy services program.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Miller was Chief Operating Officer of LVH–Cedar Crest. He also served as President of LVH–Hecktown Oaks, overseeing overall operations and the continued growth of the hospital campus.
Mr. Miller joined LVHN in 2002 as a certified registered nurse anesthetist and began his leadership journey in 2005 as Network Director of Anesthesia and Perfusion Services, where he led numerous quality and process improvement initiatives.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Holy Family University, a Master of Science from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University. He is a graduate of the Academy GE Fellows program for administrative executive and LVHN’s Institute for Health Care Leadership program. Mr. Miller is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Greater Easton Development Partnership and Cetronia Ambulance Board of Directors.
