I’m Kat Fesen, I’m originally from Lancaster, PA and went to the University of Pittsburgh for undergrad. I took a gap year to do research in DC and then moved to Hershey, PA for med school at Penn State. My favorite thing about our residency program is how supportive everyone is. We are constantly cheering on each other’s successes, and we’re there to lend a helping hand when someone faces a new challenge. I am currently the LVHN Resident Association representative for the OB/GYN program and a Medical Student Education Resident Liaison. When I’m not at work, I love bingeing Netflix shows, taking my dog, Wally, on hikes, and baking delicious desserts. I couldn’t imagine doing residency anywhere else, and am so glad to have matched somewhere I can learn alongside my friends.
