Matthew McCambridge, MD, is Senior Vice President and Chief Quality, Patient Safety and Acute Care Continuum Officer for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). He is a pulmonary and critical care physician and oversees quality, patient safety, infection control, infection prevention, radiation safety, regulatory excellence and value-based care at all inpatient and ambulatory LVHN locations.

Dr. McCambridge manages many ongoing initiatives in the areas of high reliability, continuous quality improvement and value-based care. His work extends to inpatient mortality improvement, health care-associated infections and complications reduction. Dr. McCambridge helped to establish the Patient Blood Management and Bloodless Surgery Program at LVHN. He continues to work closely with the team to appropriately utilize blood products and ensure bloodless surgery is performed safely.
