Michele Roberts, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, serves as Vice President of Nursing Operations for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).  

Roberts previously served as Vice President of Patient Care Services at LVH–Pocono, LVH–Dickson City and LVH–Hazleton. At LVH–Hazleton, she played an integral role in implementing a new staffing model while maintaining quality and maximizing patient safety initiatives. She helped LVH–Hazleton achieve higher patient satisfaction scores and worked to improve the hospital’s quality scores. At LVH–Pocono and LVH–Dickson City, her strong leadership and operational skills was a key component in successfully redesigning teams, optimizing care and assuring regulatory compliance.

Roberts holds an Associate of Science in Business from Camden County Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of New Jersey, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. She also completed a Leader Intensive Fellowship with the Advisory Board and is currently in the Academy GE Nurse Executive Fellows Program. She also holds a Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certification (NEA-BC).

Roberts’ 25 years of experience includes a variety of nursing and progressive leadership positions, as well as health care consultant roles. Through her work at LVHN, Roberts has advanced her leadership scope to include inpatient nursing, critical care, emergency department, family birth and newborn center, respiratory and perioperative department experience. Roberts has presented nationally and holds memberships in professional nursing organizations.
