I am the rotation leader for the obstetric rotations. I assist with educational planning and implementation on the labor floor. I help residents achieve their residency-directed and personal learning goals. I enjoy impromptu teaching and giving scheduled lectures. I am also the Clerkship Director for 4th year medical student Acting Internships and electives. This gives me a unique opportunity to be part of the residency recruitment process.
The Lehigh Valley is a wonderful place to raise my family. It has a little bit of everything, from inner city to suburbia to Amish country. You can access the Appalachian Trial or Philadelphia in less than an hour drive. There is a real attempt in the community to preserve agricultural land and many parks and nature areas. It is a diverse racial and ethnic community. There are excellent public schools as well as distinguished religious-based and private schools, State Universities and liberal arts colleges.
