My Dung Ha, DO
Clerkship Director, MS-4 Family Medicine Elective
I attended Drexel University for my undergraduate degree in biology and spent my gap year in museum sciences by working at The Franklin Institute and the Maryland Science Center, performing demonstrations. I went on to attend medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Virginia. I was the president of my school’s chapter of the Student National Medical Association where I created a “miniature medical school” program for pre-med undergraduate students of underrepresented backgrounds at Virginia Tech.
I completed my residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where I served as a chief resident during my third year. I stayed with the health network and practice outpatient medicine at LVPG Family Medicine–Emmaus. I continue to be involved with the residency as a team-time lead at LVPG Family Medicine–Hamburg and work closely with fourth-year medical students as the Family Medicine Fourth Year Clerkship/AI Director.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, cooking, trying new restaurants, building furniture and DIY-ing projects at home.
