Ndeye-Aicha Gueye, MD

Dr. Ndeye-Aicha Gueye is Lehigh Valley Health Network's Division Director for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), and the Lead Physician at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Lehigh Valley.

Dr. Gueye completed her residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. While there, she received numerous research and teaching awards, such as the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award in Recognition for Excellence and Compassion in Patient Care and Commitment to Teaching.

After residency, she stayed on as staff and was presented with the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO). She is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Throughout her career, Dr. Gueye has been passionate about teaching and residency education. As the REI Division Director for the department of OB/GYN at LVHN, she is responsible for educating OBGYN residents and endocrine fellows both in the ambulatory setting and in the operating room.

In addition to teaching residents about infertility and endocrinopathies, she performs and surgically trains residents on MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgeries) including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and robotic surgeries.

Speaking on the LVHN Residency Program, Dr. Gueye states “I find it very rewarding and truly enjoy helping to prepare the residents for their futures. Motivating and pushing them to understand the pathophysiology of the diseases they treat, and enabling them to become future independent providers.”
