Neti Vora, MD
Chief, Division of Geriatrics
Hi, I am Dr. Neti Vora. I joined the department of medicine in late 2015 after being a hospitalist for five years in Reading, Pa. Currently, I see patients in the outpatient setting at Fleming Memory Center and in the inpatient setting for geriatric consult service.
I received my undergraduate degree and competed medical college in Mumbai, India. I then moved to the U.S. to pursue a career in internal medicine and completed my Geri-IM combined residency in Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Va. While completing my fellowship, I served as the associate chief resident for the internal medicine residency. During this tenure, I was given a chance to explore my love for educating medical students and residents. I continued to follow my passion for education by giving Continuing Medical Education (CME) lectures related to the field of geriatric medicine and palliative care/hospice. I engage with SELECT (Scholarly Excellence. Leadership Experiences. Collaborative Training) education for medical students through University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, work with research scholars and have interest in research. I have been awarded top subspecialty teacher by the internal medicine residency program two years in a row.
