Hena grew up in Malvern, PA and attended Bryn Mawr College. She received her B.A. in Biology with a minor in Political Science. After a year of working as a lab assistant for a pharmaceutical research company, Hena attended the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She spent her clinical years at Temple’s St. Luke’s campus in the Lehigh Valley where she co-founded the lifestyle medicine interest group and peer tutoring program. Her clinical interests include hospice and palliative medicine in addition to lifestyle medicine. Her hobbies include gardening, running, baking bread, learning about zero-waste lifestyle practices and most importantly spending time with her son.
