Patricia M. Irvine, MD
Hello! I go by Tricia. Originally I am from...no where! I grew up in an Army family, was born in Germany, and moved every few years as a kid. My dad retired when I was in high school and we were living in VA, so I stayed in-state for school. I did my undergrad training at Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and medical school at VCU in Richmond, VA. After medical school, I ventured to the land of horses and bourbon and completed my OBGYN residency at the University of Louisville in KY. I learned about LVHN via an e-mail! It sounded like an amazing opportunity and so, in true military fashion, I uprooted myself and started a new chapter of life here in the Lehigh Valley and am so happy that I did. I am a generalist with the Lehigh Valley Physician's Group. I recently assumed the role of SELECT USF medical student assistant clerkship director at the Lehigh Valley campus. I enjoy gynecologic surgery and have a particular interest in robotics. I also enjoy teaching. I absolutely love my job and the people that I work with. The staff and the residents at LVHN function as a large, unified team. Everyone is extremely supportive which makes for an ideal learning environment.
In my personal life- I love traveling, being outdoors, weightlifting. I am a huge foodie and craft beer/local wine enthusiast. I have an 85 lb. rescue pit bull who is a lap dog. I am recently engaged and 10/10 would not recommend planning a wedding during a pandemic.
