Greetings, future resident!  I am so excited for you and your journey over these next several years in medical training!  It wasn’t too long ago that I made my decision to pursue family medicine. I completed my undergraduate studies at New York University, majoring in Language and Mind (combination of linguistics, neuroscience, and psychology).  I then completed medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. My clinical years were in Brooklyn and the Bronx in New York City. My years in Grenada and a mission trip to Guyana had me appreciate international medicine and global health. I completed my residency at United Health Services Family Medicine Residency Program in Johnson City, NY.  What I love most about family medicine is partnering with patients in their health, empowering them to improve their lifestyle and health, and advocating for patients of all backgrounds. I am truly honored to be a part of my patients’ journey and I hope to make a difference in their lives. My medical interests include functional medicine, health equity, underserved populations, and medical missions.  My personal interests include reading nonfiction, cooking, drawing, and spending quality time with family and friends. I also enjoy learning about different cultures, including my own. I wish you all the best in your endeavors and can’t wait to meet you in person!
