Rachael Mahoney has served as Senior Vice President of Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute since September 2023.

Prior to joining the Fleming Neuroscience Institute, Mrs. Mahoney served as Advocate Health’s vice president for neuroscience service line administration for the Midwest region following that health care system’s 2022 merger with Atrium Health. In that role, she was the strategic executive leader for 25 hospitals and more than 100 outpatient sites in specialties including neurology, neurosurgery, interventional pain, neuropsychology and neuro-ophthalmology.

Prior to that, Mrs. Mahoney served as senior director for strategic development for 15 hospitals and 45 outpatient sites in the greater Milwaukee area for Aurora Health Care and Advocate Aurora Health, now part of Advocate Health.

Mrs. Mahoney also served as neuroscience business manager for Beaumont Health System, where she was responsible for strategic business development and program sustainability for both adult and pediatric neuroscience subspecialties. In that role, she was the operational lead for a centralized neuroscience institute housing four specialties and 35 clinicians and was project manager for a neuroscience center building that opened in 2014.

Mrs. Mahoney earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Detroit Mercy.
