Samantha Williams, MD
Dr. Samantha Williams is from Long Island and received her medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. She then trained in emergency medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco, Fresno Campus, where she spent extracurricular time working with the local critical-care paramedics and helping to train the local and national park ranger “parkmedics.”
She did an additional year training at University of California San Francisco in San Francisco, training in emergency medical services and disaster medicine. She joined LVHN in 2023. She is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. She was inspired to join EMS by her mother and grandfather, who spent years providing care in her hometown.
Dr. Williams is the current LVHN EMS Medical Student Rotation Clerkship Director, which is an elective for third and fourth year medical students. She also serves as medical director for Emmaus Fire and EMS. In addition, she is involved in the Eastern PA EMS Council, and sits on the board of directors.
