Hi, my name is Sweta Amirneni. I was born in Lansdale, Pa., and raised mostly in Pennsylvania throughout my childhood. I went to Pennsylvania State University for undergraduate and studied biology and then went to India for medical school. I did my family medicine residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network, where I learned a tremendous amount and had an extraordinary, supportive residency family. I decided to pursue geriatrics in my second year of residency during my geriatrics rotation. I fell in love with it and truly enjoy working with such a wonderful population. I look forward to honing my skills throughout this year and learning from my attendings so I can become the best physician and geriatrician for my patients.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, staying active through hiking and HIIT workouts, traveling, cooking and binging a good TV show. I’m also a big Steelers fan and love dogs.
