Tracie Merkle, MSN, is Administrator of Patient Care Services for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). She has responsibility for daily operations including staffing and budgeting for patient care services across the health network and has oversight of clinical operations managers and nursing supervisors.

Merkle earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University. She is board-certified as a Nurse Executive by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Prior to becoming Administrator, Merkle’s experience at LVHN includes roles as a professional student nurse assistant, staff nurse and patient care coordinator on the transitional trauma unit, surgical coordinator, nurse interviewer and director of patient care services operations.
