Vincent Tang, MD, is one of the maternal fetal medicine (MFM) fellows. He is originally from the Bay Area, specifically San Jose, Calif. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in molecular and cell biology. Afterward, he worked at a biotech startup in the Bay Area for three years before attending medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at University of California San Francisco Fresno. His interest in MFM stems from providing comprehensive care for women with high-risk obstetric conditions and investigating innovative solutions to achieve the healthiest pregnancy outcomes for his patients. He was drawn to Lehigh Valley Health Network’s supportive educational environment and robust interdisciplinary health system, which serves a diverse community in a high-acuity setting. His hobbies include cooking and managing his food blog, which features his own farm-to-table recipes. He also enjoys supporting his Bay Area sports teams and trail hiking.
