Team mindset
Our trauma teams dedicate their lives to what they do. Our surgeons, nurses and other trauma specialists work closely together with LVHN–MedEvac professionals to make sure patients get the care they need, precisely when they need it.
Extensive experience
We have treated more than 40,000 people affected by a traumatic injury over the past decade. We have also performed 70 percent more surgeries than other centers in the area. This volume ensures our trauma teams are well-practiced, offering patients skillful precision when it matters most.
Dedicated units for unique needs
We offer multiple units dedicated to caring for people with special kinds of urgent needs:
- Regional Burn Center treats adults and children with all sizes and types of burns.
- Children’s ER – the only one in the region – offers expert pediatric care in an environment suited for children’s unique needs.
- We also have a unit focused on caring for older adults with trauma-related needs.
Rehabilitation services
Patients who suffer a traumatic event may need physical, occupational or speech therapy to fully recover. We offer a range of rehabilitation services, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
