About

Philosophy of care

I am a strong advocate for patient-centered care and always try to put myself in the shoes of the patient. My job as a clinician is to fully inform patients and their families about their health condition, prognosis and treatment options so they can not only make the best decisions for their own health, but also be happy with those decisions.

Why I entered medicine

While my educational background is in biomedical sciences, many jobs I worked before I became a clinician involved customer service. My favorite part about those experiences was making people happy and their day a bit easier. Medicine allows me to combine my love for science and biology with my passion for helping people.

Community involvement

I am a part of local groups that promote conservation.

Personal interests

I enjoy several hobbies in my free time, such as playing musical instruments and exploring the region for new sights and restaurants.
