About
Philosophy of care
I believe in offering compassionate care to all my patients through open communication and a team approach to best treat their needs. My goal is to get them back on their feet as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine because I have always had a passion to help people and enjoy being part of their treatment plan. Working in orthopedics has been very rewarding. I form a relationship with my patients by working with them before, during and after surgery, helping them get back to their lifestyle.
Community involvement
I volunteer with Dream Come True, helping plan dreams for chronically and terminally ill children. I also help various organizations buy gifts for children at the holidays. I am involved in helping with my daughter's school events and field hockey program.
Personal interests
I enjoy staying active and love spending time with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy outdoor activities with my kids and going on vacations, especially the beach.

Dr. Ferrante's Care Team
What is a Care Team?
Your care team is a group of caregivers in a medical practice, including your physician and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners and specialized registered nurses. They work together, collaborate to address your unique needs and ensure you always get the best care at the right time. APCs receive advanced training and routinely work alongside your physician.
How we care for you
Our care team is a great combination of dedicated caregivers who are sensitive to your needs, are very skilled in taking care of you before, during and after surgery, and make you feel comfortable and happy with your progress. Working together and constantly collaborating, we provide tailored care where nothing falls through the cracks. There are countless examples when our team has made a huge difference in a patient’s life. Our knowledge, compassion and experience can do that for you, too.
