About

Philosophy of care

I try to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. I treat you and every patient as if you are a family member.

Why I entered medicine

In school I had a scientific curiosity and especially liked biology, physiology and physics. But, like many orthopedic surgeons, I got into the profession through sports – playing high school football. Also, a good friend’s father was an orthopedic surgeon, and his work sounded mentally and physically challenging as well as rewarding. I’ve built a career on the intricacies of the hand and am gratified to help patients return to work and recreation after their injuries.

Personal interests

I enjoy the outdoors, snowboarding, going to the gym and sharing a great Italian meal and bottle of wine with my wife. I also enjoy long bicycle rides through the park with my two daughters.
