About
Philosophy of care
Functioning as a physician assistant, I provide a safe space for you to express your needs, fears and expectations. I try to maintain an environment of safety, welfare and human dignity with all my patients.
Why I entered medicine
I feel like a grew up in a hospital. My parents had a difficult time having children, which meant my older sister and I didn't arrive until they were in their 40s. At age 8, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, triggering months of hospital visits, surgeries and aggressive radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Shortly after my father lost his battle with cancer, my maternal grandmother was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer that quickly took her life. For most of childhood I was riding with someone to the hospital, so a medical career made sense. Caring for people is second nature to me.
Community involvement
I help combat homelessness and work to preserve the planet/environment.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending free time with family/friends, as well as cooking and traveling.
