About
Philosophy of care
I believe every individual under my care deserves to be treated with the utmost compassion, respect and dignity. Patient-centered care, to me, is a commitment to truly understanding and addressing your unique needs, values and preferences. It involves actively listening to your concerns, empathizing with your experiences and involving you as a partner in your own health care journey.
Why I entered medicine
My medical career intertwines my love of science with my curiosity about the intricacies of the human body and health and my desire to make a difference in people's lives. My own journey with health and wellness sparked a deep curiosity about the complexities of the human body. I found myself constantly questioning and seeking to understand the mechanisms behind physiological processes as well as the factors influencing health and disease. This personal curiosity evolved into a professional aspiration to not only understand but also contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice.
Community involvement
I am involved in the Association of University Radiologists, the Radiological Society of North America and the Association of Program Directors in Radiology, and have served on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees for all three societies. I am deeply passionate about medical education and mentoring junior physicians, trainees and medical students.
Personal interests
I am an avid runner and tennis player.
