About
Philosophy of care
I firmly believe in a collaborative approach between patient and physician. Through active listening and comprehensive education about neurological diagnoses and treatment options, I aim to foster trust and understanding. Empowering patients to make informed choices about their care is central to my practice. Together, we work as a team to achieve the best possible outcomes for neurological well-being.
Why I entered medicine
I chose a career in medicine because I've always been drawn to science, enjoy problem-solving challenges and have a deep desire to help people. My own experiences as a patient reinforced this passion, showing me the profound impact compassionate care can have. I was drawn to a career in medicine to combine my interests to make a difference in the lives of others.
Community involvement
I provide educational workshops on neurological topics at a local community center, volunteer to teach important neurological topics to family medicine residents, speak to pre-school children about being a doctor at a “community helper day” and volunteer with my child’s school and activities.
Personal interests
In my free time, I enjoy quality time with my family. My interests include exploring my community, trying new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, listening to audiobooks and learning new crafts.
