About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care involves fully informing you about your condition so you can play an active role in your treatment and recovery.
Why I entered medicine
I toured my town’s small community hospital during a school field trip, learning what it would take to be part of it. At 15 I joined the local volunteer ambulance corps and enrolled in the county EMT program. I graduated at 16 and began serving my community. At age 18, I joined the U.S. Air Force and served my country. After returning home, I resumed my journey into medicine. I learn something new every day that I enjoy sharing with my patients.
Community involvement
I've been involved with the Boy Scouts of America, the American Cancer Society, the Public Policy Research and Analysis Center-Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the HERA (Health, Empowerment, Research and Awareness) Foundation. Several years ago I was honored to become a member of the B.P.O.E, aka "the Elks," volunteering in local programs.
Personal interests
I enjoy cooking and creating meals for my family. When we are not watching or playing volleyball, we enjoy spending time biking, boarding and walking our dogs on the beach at the Jersey Shore.
