About

Philosophy of care

I do my best to assist as many people as I can with my knowledge and care. I’ve studied medicine in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and overseas, working with patients in both primary and urgent care situations, and in hospitals or on an outpatient basis. Obesity medicine is a major interest.

Why I entered medicine

I still recall my first experience with health care with my pediatrician. I was fascinated by her kindness, compassion, knowledge and care. I wanted to be just like her. Fast-forward many (many) years and here I am. I love my job.

Community involvement

I have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, fundraisers for the Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as local charities.

Personal interests

I love being active. Everything from skiing, boating, hiking and just general exploring appeals to me. Of course I do also have my quiet moments, when just reading or playing with my dog is just as fulfilling.
