Why I entered medicine
I had an early interest in immunology which I expanded to heart transplantation. I was an early innovator in cardiac assist devices.
Community involvement
I am an advocate of heart health for our community.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with my family, traveling, playing golf and tennis, as well as skiing.
