About

Philosophy of care

I primarily diagnose and treat shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions, but also evaluate patients with fractures and wrist and hand injuries. My goal is helping patients regain their motion and participate in activities that fulfill their lives. I look forward to helping you get back to doing activities you enjoy without pain or limitations.

Why I entered medicine

I became an orthopedic surgeon to greatly improve each patient's quality of life. I pursued advanced training in shoulder and elbow surgery because the complexity of those joints interests me. The all-encompassing specialty requires mastery of an array of open and arthroscopic techniques used in sports medicine, joint reconstruction and upper extremity trauma. It also allows me to work with patients of all ages.

Personal interests

I love spending time with my husband and dog. I also enjoy traveling to new places, weight lifting and outdoor activities like snowboarding, cycling, scuba diving and hiking.
