About
Philosophy of care
My mother, a college professor, once told me: "If it wasn't for my students, I wouldn't have a job." I believe this also translates to doctors and patients. Without my patients, I wouldn't be here. I believe healing begins from within. Treat the person and not just the disease. Life can be hard; a life-changing diagnosis can make things more difficult. I sit down with you and talk about the whole process to ensure understanding, and make sure to take the time to listen to your concerns.
Why I entered medicine
I am originally from the Lehigh Valley. My father is a pediatrician, and I witnessed his dedication to his patients and the impact he had on many lives. His care and character shaped me into who I am today. My mother is one of the most passionate people I know, and her energy is invigorating. I entered medicine as a personal challenge. I was always competitive growing up, playing multiple sports and being the youngest of four brothers. Striving to do my best, I used the challenges of the journey to sharpen my skills and overcome obstacles. I pride myself on knowing I am treating the community that raised me.
Community involvement
I was trained at LVHN. Now I help teach future clinicians, instilling my life experiences and knowledge for their education.
Personal interests
Outside of the hospital I have multiple interests. I maintain an active lifestyle in the form of running and weightlifting. I enjoy visiting national parks for the beauty and the challenge of difficult hikes. I also love to cook and experiment with cultural cuisines. I am handy and enjoy working on multiple projects.
