About
Philosophy of care
I am a partner in health care with my patients. I want to give them the information they need to make informed decisions. I treat my patients the way I would want my family members and loved ones to be treated.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine because of a strong desire to help people. I worked in human services and psychology prior to medical school and wanted to be able to treat the whole person and the entire family.
Community involvement
I am involved in my church. I also am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Personal interests
My interests include spending time with my husband and family, including my furry children, my adult children and my grandson. I also love to travel, enjoy gardening, step aerobics, cooking and exploring new restaurants.
